CiArAn McGoldrick
Culinary Institute of America
Ciaran was born and raised in New York City and food has always been a large part of his life. Having two immigrant parents from Ireland, he grew up on traditional foods like Shepherd’s Pie, hearty stews and braises at home. Outside of home he was extremely fortunate to be exposed to a variety of international cuisines like Vietnamese, French, Thai and many others, thanks to the melting pot that New York City is. He am currently pursing his Associate’s Degree in Culinary Arts at the Culinary Institute of America, where he is a senior.
Ciaran says his time at the CIA has been surreal thus far. His passion and aspirations for cooking have taken off since his enrollment and eagerly looks forward to the exciting experiences to come throughout the duration of the program. He one day hopes to be a successful Executive Chef and Restaurateur by using the strong fundamentals and skills that he is being taught at the CIA today.
